Bath Electric, Gas and Water Systems will begin natural gas service line work on East William Street between Gansevoort Street and May Street. This work is in support of our efforts to provide safe and reliable utility services.
Assisting with natural gas service line work will be The DDS Companies (DDS) who will drive marked vehicles, operate marked equipment, and carry identification indicating they are employees of the company.
We ask all travelers – vehicular and pedestrian – to exercise extreme caution while on East William Street. Our priority is the safety of all including our employees, our contractors, and the public. Traffic on East William Street may be restricted at times as crews perform the necessary work.
Work is scheduled to begin April 24, 2024, weather permitting, and will continue through June of this year.
