In support of our efforts to provide safe and reliable utility services, Bath Electric, Gas and Water Systems will be undertaking power line clearing, tree trimming, and tree removals throughout our electric franchise area. This includes clearing branches impacting our wires serving electric customers in the Village of Bath and nearby areas in the Town.
Assisting with this work is Ironwood Heavy Highway (Ironwood). Ironwood employees will be driving marked vehicles, operating marked equipment, and carrying identification indicating they are employees of the company.
We ask all travelers – vehicular and pedestrian – to exercise caution when encountering crews performing work. Our priority is the safety of all including our employees, our contractors, and the public. Traffic may be restricted at times as crews perform the necessary work.
Work is scheduled to start in the Town of Bath the week of April 22, 2024, weather permitting, and will continue through summer of this year.
